How It All Started…

Back-to-Eden Ranch started in 2011, when the Chow family moved from San Jose to Gilroy, fulfilling their dream of living off the land. We started out with just two dogs, chickens, fruit trees, and a vegetable patch. Over the years, the farm family expanded to include African guinea fowl, goats, ducks, cows, geese, bunnies, and alpacas. (Any suggestions for our next addition? :) During the COVID-19 pandemic, Back-to-Eden Ranch started hosting weekend tours as a family-friendly, outdoor activity that young and old could enjoy. We love our little piece of heaven and can’t wait to share it with you too!

Dou Dou was an expert squirrel catcher, a very food-motivated black lab, and our best walking dog. We will miss the daily walks and the quiet presence she bestowed upon us. Last weekend our two pregnant does gave birth. We were blessed with a short time to love Bubble’s two little ones but they born weak and did not survive past day 3. On the same day as Bubbles, Flower decided to deliver her singlet which entered the world with a gusto. The downs in the life on the farm makes us so grateful for the ups.   • We had the most fun at Jasmine’s farm. It was amazing spending the morning with the animals. It was all clean and well maintained. The animals were also very social. And of course Jasmine was just the best host. We are looking forward to going back when her goat has her babies!!! It’s definitely an experience I’ll be recommending to my friends and family.

  • We had an overall great time and a fun experience! We went to the farm on a very hot day, but the hosts did a good job keeping us in the shade and hydrated throughout the experience! The tour guides were knowledgeable and seemed to love what they were doing which was great to see. The animals were super friendly, gentle, and cute! 10/10 experience would defiantly go again!

  • If you like animals, this is an experience for you! My cousin and our families, including two 4 year olds and two 1 year olds all loved the farm tour. Everyone fed the alpacas, chickens, geese, calf, bunnies and more and the pictures we got are adorable. Jasmine and Andrew have a beautiful, well-loved farm and it is obvious to anyone how much they care about their animals. We will definitely be back!

  • The animals here are very well looked after and Jasmine, the host, tells very funny stories. It is her love and passion to have a whole range of animals and to enjoy their companionship. At this experience, you can meet many animals and interact with them, including petting, feeding, holding, or watching how they move about. If you've never been on a farm, like animals, and have an opportunity to visit Jasmine's, do take the opportunity!

  • Tucked away in a farming area of Gilroy. The farm is an animal lover’s paradise. Mini cow, goats, alpacas, a large goose and baby animals! It’s not often that you get to hold baby rabbits, a full grown goose, and goslings! I liked that the group was small so that we didn’t overwhelm the animals and we were all able to interact. Quite unlike any other experience I’ve had before. I also appreciated the amenities- a clean bathroom, sinks to wash hands, and refreshments afterwards. My friends and I had a great time and would definitely visit again.

  • My husband and I had a great time meeting all the cute animals in Jasmine’s barn! If you like petting and interact closely with animals, you will love this place. Jasmine is super friendly and kind. I enjoyed learning each animal’s name, characteristic and a bit of their stories. Jasmine told us Joy, 1.5 years old cow, was her last birthday’s gift from her husband. How cute was that!

  • Hands down the best like farm tour experience. Got to hold baby chicks and baby bunnies!! Definitely my highlight. But you also could try to get some kisses from the Alpacas! Overall this was so wonderful and time FLEW by!! I recommend this to anybody!! If you are doubting it because of the price, don’t fret I think it’s worth it. You get to feed and pet so many animals. Absolutely wonderful host and I will come back!

  • Jasmine's farm is a wonderful place for the kids to experience the magic of being around animals. Our guides were very knowledgeable and explained to us about the different animals there, they are very passionate about what they do. It's an experience I would definitely recommend for others.

  • Jasmines farm was so much fun, we got to kiss some alpacas and hold a geese! The tour was really great, and we ended it with some lemonade that she made for us. Overall great experience and would recommend!
